I work
in-studio, can provide all necessary photographic equipment to
transform any space into a fully-lit studio or can work outdoors
in a natural setting. I work with complete professionalism and
respect for my clients.
You retain
all rights to your images with a signed contract, so they are
never displayed or exhibited. In fact, I don't even show them
to prospective clients unless you authorize me to do so. That's
why my portfolios are made up from images with paid models. Most
of my clients have reserved all rights to showing of their images,
which I respect.
There is
no limit to the number of photographs made during the session.
Halfway
through the shoot, we take a break and load images into a computer
in the studio so you can get a preview of the photographs being
made, and can make sure the session is going in the right direction
and you're getting the kind of photos you want. At the end of
the session, all of the images are displayed. (This time is not
counted in the shooting session.)
Within
7 days (often sooner), you get a web proof page sent to you with
all the untoned images that you can use to check expression, pose,
etc.
Clients
who purchase a web presentation gallery receive a series of toned
images that are some of the best photographs from the session.
The turnaround
time for photographic prints is 14 days, usually. (Rush service
is available.)
Clients
are responsible for their own makeup, hair and transportation.
You may bring a friend or spouse for company, though I impose
a strict studio rulethey can have no input into the shoot.
A parent
or guardian is required if under 18.
I hope
I've answered a lot of your questions. If not, please call and
ask. I had one client ask me about a session and then said "I
dont know if Im asking valid questions." I said
to her, "I don't know if there is such a thing as an invalid
question when it comes to such a personal photo."
BEHIND
THE SCENESWHAT A STUDIO SESSION LOOKS LIKE:
It's
lights on stands, electrical cords running throughout the studio,
backgrounds, benches, chairs, a camera on a tripod and a completely
comfortable experience.
